| The Digital Imaging Unit (UIN), directed by Doctor David Bandon has the goal to help the hospitals activities in the field of medical imaging. It also has the mission to help medical services to make the switch to computerized work. The support of the medical applications is it latest activity pole.
The UIN si compsed of three groups:
* A Group of Image Vizualisation
This group realizes solutions for performing images manipulations and imae vizualisation as well as ease the process of image interpretation and improve the patients care.
* A Integration and Information System Project group
It implements, integrates and improves externally build solutions inside the HUG (commercial systems, technology transfert). Its specialities are digital imaging and management of medico-technical parts such as the radiology and intensiv care units.
* A Groupe that supports clinical applications
It assumes the support and the teaching to the users.
